These dramatic beauties are sterling silver with a layer of gold. The gold was applied using heat and pressure, a technique called keum boo. The gold and silver form a molecular bond, so the gold won't chip or wear off. A patina was applied to accentuate the texture and the gold. Ethiopian opals are the dangles.
Earrings are 1 7/8"long x 1/2"wide.
